The easy trek route is located in the celebrated Srivilliputhur-Meghamalai Tiger Reserve, the 5th Tiger Reserve of the State. Trekkers can experience Deciduous to Riverine Forests on the trail which are home to unique species, including the rare Grizzled Giant Squirrel. Connected to the Megamalai wildlife sanctuary, this tract is an essential corridor that protects big cats and supports the natural movement of diverse wildlife.
