Shenbagadevi Waterfalls is a stunning 42-feet cascade located within the evergreen forests, just 6.6 km from Tenkasi. The easy trek through the beautiful forest also capture attention by virtue of a few intriguing historic rock inscriptions. The Rock bordered pool at the end point with the fragrant Shembaga trees and the Kutralam valley-view offers much delight to hikers and families. Our Senbagadevi Trek was an unforgettable experience. The entire trek was very well organized, and the guides ensured our safety throughout the journey. The trail was surrounded by breathtaking greenery, fresh mountain air, and stunning scenic views, making every step worthwhile. Reaching the sacred Senbagadevi Amman Temple and receiving the blessings of Lord Kasi Viswanath made this trek even more special. It was a perfect blend of adventure, spirituality, and nature. A heartfelt thanks to the Tamil Nadu Trek team for their excellent coordination, hospitality, and commitment to preserving nature. We returned with beautiful memories, amazing photographs, and a peaceful mind. Highly recommended for nature lovers, trekking enthusiasts, and families looking for a safe and memorable adventure. 🙏
I did this trail in the 10 am slot. Durairaj and Kannan were our guides for the same. We started from the courtallam forest guest house. On our way, we were given information about flora and fauna around . Since it had rained the day before, the weather was excellent. It was drizzling and perfect for a walk. We took short stops to see a waterfall on our way, enjoy the greenery and listen to the sounds of the beautiful birds. The temple and Shenbagadevi waterfall is spectacular. Nestled in the forest, you are surrounded by greenery, medicinal plants , sound of the waterfall and lots of monkeys. It was extremely peaceful there with strong positive energy. After spending some time at the waterfall, we headed back to the base where we started from. Our guides were well mannered, professional and informative. They were strict with regards to our safety which is commendable. Highly recommended for beginners. I look forward ro to more treks with Trek Tamil Nadu.
Returned to this paradise after years... Some places doesn't just hold beauty, they hold memories, they just wait for you to come back.
Firstly kudos to both the guides Kannan and Meena who were so helpful and patient, while also explaining importance of trees, plants etc and sharing their vast knowledge. while also giving us time also to enjoy nature and soak in the scenery. I just hope this trek is also extended till thaenaruvi which will give this a more complete experience. The trek path is easy for beginners and lots of picturesque spots for photography
This was my first experience with Trek Tamil Nadu, and it turned out to be a memorable one. The nature walk took us through easy trails nestled in the wilderness, where the presence of wildlife was subtly felt through footprints—elephants and other wild animals had clearly passed through recently. The trek was beginner-friendly and comfortably completed within three hours, making it ideal for those new to trekking. What truly elevated the experience was the presence of knowledgeable guides. Their deep understanding of the forest ecosystem and local culture added immense value to the walk. We learned so much about the flora, fauna, and traditions of the region. Overall, it was a well-organized and peaceful nature walk, perfect for anyone looking to reconnect with nature and learn along the way.
